Panopto Desktop Video Recording

Note: Due to contract limits, Panopto videos that have not been viewed for two years are automatically archived on the Panopto server, and we are adding a permanent deletion component to that. Effective March, 2024:

• Archived videos can be restored, but the process can take up to 48 hours
• Archived videos that have not been viewed in the past four years will automatically be permanently deleted  beginning June 1, 2024 and cannot be restored
• Panopto Video Search, Restore, Download Tutorial

Consider chunking information into five to ten-minute topical segments, or recording two-minute introductions for chapters or assigned readings to help students prepare for class. Embed these videos on a page or in an announcement in Canvas.
